Finance Manager   
Job Description
  • To supervise, guide and lead the entire Finance Departmental staff, monitor their performance and set deadlines
  • Review, finalise and provide all management and any financial information vital to the company prior to distribution
  • Ensure cost control is practised within the company and monitored within the budgeted levels
  • Responsible for working capital & operating cash flow through effective management of inventory, A/P, capital expenditures and FOREX risk.
  • Manage & finalise annual statutory audit and tax computation (income tax & GST).
  • Responsible for internal audit
  • Develop & implement processes & policies for improving accuracy, timeliness & predictability of financial results.
  • Implement and monitor contingency action & cost reduction program to raise quality of earnings & meet or exceed financial targets.
  • Set, monitor and ensure the success of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Leadership objectives for the Finance Department
  • Communicate and work closely with other departments in ensuring the overall company objectives/performance is achieved at all times.
  • Maintain high morale and team spirit in the office environment
  • Ensure compliance with US-GAAP, legal, statutory, tax and Sarbane-Oxley (SOX) requirements
  • Establish strong finance and accounting organization at all layers of the business and strong cross–functional relationship.
  • Supervise and coordinate with branch/representative offices, sales, service, contracting, OASD departments to ensure proper financial input and accuracy of order calculations
  • Identify and establish successor program planning and the development plans for each and every individual within Finance team to maximize their potentials to the organization.
  • Be proactive in change management and business partner to all line of business and rep offices in ensuring continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
  • Perform any other duties from time to time, whether ad hoc or otherwise, as assigned by your superior
Job Requirements:
  • Preferrably Degree, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office with understanding of FICO, BW, Travel management in the SAP modules.
  • 8 years and above working experience and minimum 3 years experience in handling full set of account of a similar business operation, experienced in managing a team, leading change and business financial skills
  • Good communication, analytical, organizing & relationship management skills
  • Must have initiative and be a proactive team leader
  • Strong knowledge in the relevant business operation
