Job Duties:

• Prepare and deliver both internal and external financial reports as required.  Responsible for the delivery of all financial and related information and returns, including MAS returns, GST returns, corporate tax returns etc.

 Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• More than 5 years of experience in the financial and accounting aspects of life insurance/reinsurance
• Familiar with Asian insurance/reinsurance markets
• Proficient in English
• Strong financial background and computer literate

Desirable Experience

• Experience with US-GAAP and Singapore statutory reporting bases
• Understanding of GST and corporate tax
• Strong sense of internal controls and procedures

Finance Manager (Group Consolidation)  

Our client, a global player in the Real Estate Industry is inviting dynamic & mature Finance Manager to join them.

The Role:

•  Responsible for the regional consolidation, financial/management reporting, budgeting and forecasting that are in compliance with relevant statutory regulations
• Provides Variance analysis and explanation of key indicators/drivers
• Project accounting for strategic investments in fair valuation of convertible bonds etc
• Liaison with external auditors on audit requirements and accounting issues
• Participation in companies buyout and divestment exercises as well as initial set up of commercial funds and handling some financial matters of the new markets and other investment budget reporting
• Supervise a team of accountants
• Other adhoc projects as assigned
  

The Pre-Requisite:

• Degree in Accountancy and CPA qualified will be an added advantage
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Group Consolidation
• Meticulous and numeric savvy

Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Assist VP to plan, co-ordinate, and oversee the departmental activities (AR, FA, GL, and Treasury) and established goals, objectives and operational priorities to ensure delivery of effective and quality service
• Monitor daily operation and resolving the operation issue on timely basis with the assistant of the Finance Staff
• Ensure the internal customer’s requirements are identified and consistently attained
• Enforce implementation of internal controls, management’s directives, policies and procedures
• Development of policies or standard operating procedure (SOP)
• Participate in project implementation for system
• Establishes staff training and performance goals (KPI), conduct performance reviews and evaluations in order to promote continuous growth and high quality work

• Responsible for monthly assessment run and overall in charge of intercompany AR & AP reconciliation and elimination
• Manage banking relationships and coordinate all banking needs for the group, including managing the Review group’s currency/financial risk exposure and work on hedging strategies

• Liaison with Bankers on loan drawdown and interest fixing period
