MANAGER, FINANCE

Position Summary:

Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee the finance & accounting functions and be responsible for ensuring that appropriate processes and controls are in place. A key aspect of the role will be the integration of the finance function into the operations to enable true business partner support as well as ensuring that there is a robust planning and forecasting process. You will work closely with the Senior Management on strategy and will add value to the sharp end of the decision making process.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full spectrum of financial accounting, providing strategic financial direction to management
• Manage operating cash flow, including budget forecasting and planning
• Handling Company's payroll (for around 40 staff)
• Manage the company's accounts payable and maintain accounts receivable
• Ensure the proper and timely reporting of monthly management accounts
• Work with the respective business heads to ensure product profitability
• Work with the Sales Director to set and evaluate revenue targets and Key Performance Indicators
• Streamline the accounts reporting process and structure across the company's regional offices
• Daily cash management with a view of our forex exposures and funding needs
• Managing all financial control and reporting requirements of the business
• Generating creative and innovative ideas and solutions to business problems and issues using a professional and flexible approach.
• Ensure cash collection targets are met

Requirements:

• A qualified Accountant or degree/diploma holder with 3-5 years post qualified experience in financial services
• Excellent accounting skills across reporting and compliance, management accounting, planning and forecasting
• Previous experience in handling payroll will be preferred
• Stable, mature professional who has experience in management so as to effectively develop the finance and accounting team.
• Proven experience in the area of business support
• Confident and credible, displaying excellent interpersonal skills
• Up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications
• Forward looking with ability to review financial matters from a strategic perspective
