MANAGER, FINANCE
Position Summary:
Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee the finance & accounting functions and be responsible for ensuring that appropriate processes and controls are in place. A key aspect of the role will be the integration of the finance function into the operations to enable true business partner support as well as ensuring that there is a robust planning and forecasting process. You will work closely with the Senior Management on strategy and will add value to the sharp end of the decision making process.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full spectrum of financial accounting, providing strategic financial direction to management
- Manage operating cash flow, including budget forecasting and planning
- Handling Company's payroll (for around 40 staff)
- Manage the company's accounts payable and maintain accounts receivable
- Ensure the proper and timely reporting of monthly management accounts
- Work with the respective business heads to ensure product profitability
- Work with the Sales Director to set and evaluate revenue targets and Key Performance Indicators
- Streamline the accounts reporting process and structure across the company's regional offices
- Daily cash management with a view of our forex exposures and funding needs
- Managing all financial control and reporting requirements of the business
- Generating creative and innovative ideas and solutions to business problems and issues using a professional and flexible approach.
- Ensure cash collection targets are met
- A qualified Accountant or degree/diploma holder with 3-5 years post qualified experience in financial services
- Excellent accounting skills across reporting and compliance, management accounting, planning and forecasting
- Previous experience in handling payroll will be preferred
- Stable, mature professional who has experience in management so as to effectively develop the finance and accounting team.
- Proven experience in the area of business support
- Confident and credible, displaying excellent interpersonal skills
- Up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications
- Forward looking with ability to review financial matters from a strategic perspective
