Accountant
Job Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and year end closing activities.
- Assists in financial analysis of various business initiatives and performance
- Prepares monthly closing accounts including GL journal entries
- Prepare periodic financial/management reports
- Provide analysis and commentaries on monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- File statutory, business statistics and other kind of returns as required by local tax and legal legislations
- Liaise with internal and external auditors on financial reporting matters.
- Liaise with tax agent on tax compliance.
- Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Assist in projects involving process automation and documentation.
- Degree/ACCA holder or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- Prior experience in general ledger
- Excellent SAP & Hyperion skillComputer proficiency in MS Word and Powerpoint
- Strong technical accounting skills with experience of US GAAP and SOX compliance
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and possess strong work commitment
