• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation and assist in the review of balance sheet reconciliation and follow-up on the clearance of reconciling items.
• Handle all fixed asset masters in Singapore’s books including asset capitalization, transfers/disposal of assets and provide guidance to Operations on the capitalization policy.
• Ensure timely HFM submission.
• Perform quarterly and yearly ICAD testing.
• Assist to prepare audit schedules, provide analysis and render assistance to the external auditors during interim and final statutory audit.
• Involve in the SOX audit including coordination, follow-up and implementation of corrective measures.
• Participate in the planning and coordination of annual budget process, estimates and variance analysis for APME Corporate GroupTo instill a strong sense of process control mindset in the finance department.
• Actively involved in the work process improvements in the areas of testing, implementation and follow-up.
• Assist to closely monitor the year-end audit process, ensuring that correct and timely delivery of audited accounts by the stated deadline
• Support the review of profit centre, cost centre and G/L account creation requests.
• Work with Plant Finance team in the areas that affect the legal books / statutory reporting.
• Involve in SAP implementation and maintenance
• Support annual USA filing and ensure compliance with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley Act and local standards.
• Any other adhoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

- Degree in Accounting or professional degree or equivalent

- Minimum 4 years of working experience

- Experience in month end closing activities, general ledger and fixed assets.

- Experience in SAP/ERP system/ HFM is preferred

- Strong analytical skills and have strong sense of internal control

- Able to multi-task, operationally hands-on and have worked in a fast paced MNC environment before

- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- Able to evaluate and facilitate change process

- Proficient in MS excel

- Audit experience is preferred but not a must.

- Able to start work immediately will be an advantage.
