Our client is a well-established global business in the shipping and maritime industry. The business has been expanding steadily over the years and are continuing to experience exceptional growth even in the current economic climate. In their stride towards achieving expected strong growth, they are seeking a high potential individual to join as an Accountant.

Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager, the incumbent will play a key role in a hybrid and well-balanced spectrum of financial accounting, management reporting and analytical activities. These include cash management, variance analysis, and playing a supporting role in continual streamlining of accounting processes and policies for the organization.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or recognized relevant qualification
• Min. 4-5 years experience in total
• Strong financial accounting fundamentals will be preferred
• Only proactive and highly independent individuals with a high sense of urgency need apply
• With strong business acumen in an extremely dynamic business
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills will be essential
