Responsibilities

* lead and motivate a team of Executive/Assistants in the daily operations;
* co-ordinate the month-end close activities to ensure timeliness in accordance with the closing calendar and corporate reporting deadlines;
* prepare financial reports for the retail/food subsidiaries with more than 100 outlets island-wide;
* analyse reports to identify and investigate anomalies and ensure that accurate analysis are submitted timely to Management for review;
* responsible for implementing work improvement to streamline processes and procedures to achieve higher efficiency and quality results;
* responsible for establishing and implementing accounting and financial policies and procedures to ensure good internal control and compliance with accounting standards/principles and statutory requirements.
* assist in other ad-hoc projects.




Requirements

* CPA, ACCA, Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
* 3 – 5 years of working experience in a retailing industry
* Sound knowledge of financial reporting standards, GST, taxation and relevant statutory requirements
* Independent and able to work under tight deadlines
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and able to relate effectively with staff at all levels




Working hours: 8.30am to 6pm

Remuneration will commensurate with your qualifications & experience
