Job Descriptions/ Job Requirements:
- Reporting to the Financial Controller and overseeing the financial accounting functions
- Ensure proper and accurate accounting for all financial accounting transactions.
- Provide accurate and timely management information for management decision making in accordance to the Corporate Timeline and compliance with accounting standards
- Provide leadership to staff and hands-on resolution of operational issues
- Review of month-end journal entries and trial balance as well as finalization of P&L and Balance Sheet
- Manage relationship with internal/external auditors and tax agents
- Review and ensure proper GST reporting and tax compliance
- Manages company cash flow & cash pool facility
- Maintain financial policies and procedures with proper internal controls
- Identify internal control weaknesses and implement improvements
- Work with Corporate Treasury on treasury matters and hedge foreign exchange exposures.
- Carry out ad-hoc projects etc.
- Degree in Accountancy/ACCA holder with 3-5 years' relevant working in managing full set of accounts coupled with supervisory experience
- Analytical and meticulous with good communication skills
- Ability to meet tight reporting datelines
- Hands-on knowledge on Excel spreadsheet
- Prior experience working in SAP and Hyperion environment preferred
- Good knowledge of statutory reporting and tax compliance
- Dynamic, team player, proactive personality, solutions-oriented
- Willing to travel
