As our business and assets grow, we are looking for a Finance Manager to support the firm's finance and operational needs. The position provides excellent exposure to all aspects of a young company's operations and is a rare opening for the candidate seeking fresh challenges and growth within the asset management industry.
Finance Manager - Hedge Fund
- Areas of Responsibility:
- Accounting: Handle management company's accounts
- Budgeting and Planning: Preparation of annual, monthly budgets and review of company's operations against plan
- Reporting and tax compliance: -Oversee & support preparation of financial statements on GAAP basis -Oversee & support annual audit proces -Oversee & support preparation of tax filing
- Ensure timely tax filing and other reporting to the relevant authorities
- Management of cash balances including reconciliation
- Oversight of all finance functions including tax planning
- Degree Holder with minimum 3 years accounting experience and knowledge of US GAAP. Experience in tax, particularly US, Japan and Singapore tax, is preferred.
- Familiarity with financial securities
- Fast learner, team player and mature self-starter
- Able to see the big picture and anticipate business needs
