Senior Accountant
(Singapore)

Responsibilities:
Q Lifestyle is seeking a hand's on Senior Accountant with responsibilities that extend across its group of companies in Asia Pacific. You will provide the financial and management reporting, forecasting and budgeting, and assisting with audit, taxation and statutory compliance. Working directly with all functions across the business you will have direct responsibility for:
  • Preparation/review and consolidation of the monthly management reporting ensuring accurate and timely reports in accordance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
  • Ensuring all regional reporting are accurate and timely including reconciliation of inter-company transactions in accordance with the relevant agreements and corporate policies.
  • Preparation and coordination of budgets, forecasts and analysis of actual performance.
  • Ensure cash flow projections are maintained and cash is managed in accordance with corporate objectives maintaining tight control over costs and creditors and debtors.
  • Liaising with Corporate Finance in Hong Kong and Malaysia regarding all management and statutory reporting, audit, cash flow and company secretarial requirements.
  • Maintenance of regional company information including company incorporations, share certificates, articles of association, memorandums and banking information.
  • Preparation and coordination of tax computations on a quarterly and annual basis for the company ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive transfer pricing policies and procedures including transfer pricing agreements, service schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents and government authorities as required for all statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Manage corporate fixed assets monitoring for any impairment of assets.
  • Recommend/Develop and assist in implementation of accounting and policies and practices to ensure proper documentation of financial transactions and internal control compliance.
  • Provide key stakeholder input for the implementation of the group's integrated accounting, finance and resource planning systems.
  • Provide guidance on policies and process including operational issue to the Finance team of accountants locally and throughout the region.
  • Providing assistance to the Finance Manager in ad-hoc assignments.
Requirements:
  • Business/Finance Degree
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years experience in finance and accounting
  • Knowledge of Singapore taxation, audit and statutory reporting
  • Experience in Asia Pacific regional finance and accounting including knowledge of taxation, international accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements
  • Advanced Excel and system skills
  • Experience working in the Hotel, Resort and Travel Industries
  • Experience with SAP implementation or another ERP system will be highly regarded.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are required to build effective working relationships both within and outside the organisation.
  • Proven capability to adhere to strict deadlines and able to prioritise your individual workload.
  • Adaptable to change in a dynamic environment with the initiative to improve reporting, policies and processes.
  • Proven ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Determination to follow objectives through to resolution.
