Job Responsibilities:

• Routine Financial and management reporting
• Quarterly GST declaration to IRAS
• Preparation of annual business plan
• Coordination of both internal and external financial audits
• Coordination of both internal and external SOX audits
• Verify staff claims/accounts payable

Job Requirements:

• Degree qualified CPA/CA with at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Prior exposure to accounts payables
• Experience in SOX Audits will be an advantage
• Able to start work immediate will be an advantage

Accounting Manager - Robinson Road

The successful candidate will be assisting the Assistant Controller in driving all formal financial reporting functions including the management of statutory accounting, financial accounting and month end close.

Requirements

• Singaporean/Singapore PR (Foreigners are not eligible for this opening)
• Degree in Finance/Accounting, with CPA and/or CMA a plus
• Minimum 6 years relevant accounting experience in similar capacity with an MNC in a Shared Service Center environment
• Sound knowledge in all areas of financial accounting anf control, with strong technical competency
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and draw sound conclusion
• Detailed oriented with excellent analytical, time management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work across various areas of the business, including effective communication with people of different backgrounds and levels
• Ability to deal with matters that carry a high degree of confidentiality
• PC and spreadsheet experience, particularly Excel modelling. Previous experience with MAS 500 and Oracle is desirable

Responsibilities

• Managed outsourced accounting functions and payroll process at various international lcoations as part of month end closing procedure
• To ensure all reconciling items in all Balance Sheet reconciliations are clearly identified and resolved on a timely basis
• To support the Assistant Controller in all treasury functions including the management of foreign currency requirements across the Company and daily cash flow control
• To maintain all records and accounting entries
• Prepare fixed assets/depreciation JE
• Oversee and drive improvement of accounting processes
• Oarticipate financial and other ad hoc projects as needed including cost management, internal control, decision supports and financial application implementation

Working Hours

• Monday - Friday : 830am - 530pm
• Salary
• S$7000 negotiable

Job Descriptions/ Job Requirements:

• Reporting to the Financial Controller and overseeing the financial accounting functions
• Ensure proper and accurate accounting for all financial accounting transactions.
• Provide accurate and timely management information for management decision making in accordance to the Corporate Timeline and compliance with accounting standards
• Provide leadership to staff and hands-on resolution of operational issues
• Review of month-end journal entries and trial balance as well as finalization of P&L and Balance Sheet
• Manage relationship with internal/external auditors and tax agents
• Review and ensure proper GST reporting and tax compliance
• Manages company cash flow & cash pool facility
• Maintain financial policies and procedures with proper internal controls
• Identify internal control weaknesses and implement improvements
• Work with Corporate Treasury on treasury matters and hedge foreign exchange exposures.
• Carry out ad-hoc projects etc.
  

• Degree in Accountancy/ACCA holder with 3-5 years' relevant working in managing full set of accounts coupled with supervisory experience
• Analytical and meticulous with good communication skills
• Ability to meet tight reporting datelines
• Hands-on knowledge on Excel spreadsheet
• Prior experience working in SAP and Hyperion environment preferred
• Good knowledge of statutory reporting and tax compliance
• Dynamic, team player, proactive personality, solutions-oriented
• Willing to travel
