Financial/ Profit & Lost Analyst (Asia Pacific): US IT MNC - (Ref:AD)
Our client is a Leading US MNC in the Information Technology Industry offering Computer, High-end Electronic Products, etc.
Due to join their growing business, they are looking for an Asia Pacific Financial/ P&L Analyst to join their growing business.

Requirements:
Minimum Education and Experience required for this role:
- Educated to Degree level or newly qualified Accountant
- Up to 5 years of relevant working experience, with Audit or Commercial background.
- Sector experience preferable but not a prerequisite.

Responsibilities:
Job Purpose:
To provide Fnancial Analysis and support to the Asia Pacific (APAC) team
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Key member of the APAC Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, liaising with all levels of APAC & Worldwide Management and Functional team.
- Networking and relationship building are important characteristics of the role.
Operating Expenses (OPEX) / Financial Control:
- Develop the annual plan for Sales headcount and Operating Expenses (OPEX), in line with Corporate planning guidelines.
- Monthly forecasting of Sales headcount and OPEX to APAC / Worldwide management and Corporate using Excel and Hyperion Pillar.
- Develop the existing forecasting model to support a detailed review of forecast assumptions and driving more accurate forecasting.
- Maintenance of project codes to support the tracking and analysis of Sales OPEX spend against plan/target.
- Development of the existing management reporting for Sales OPEX to provide APAC management with concise, relevant and timely management reports.
- Understand the business’s spend requirements and assist in maximizing the benefit gained by ensuring timely information is provided to the decision makers.
- Management of accruals for monthly and quarterly Close, ensuring adherence to SOX requirements for substantiation of accruals.
- Review of accruals to ensure correct accounting treatment, requesting journals where necessary.
- Approval of PR’s to ensure correct application of project codes and GL coding, and compliance with Indirect Procurement requirements.
- Assist the business in understanding and complying with the Corporate Procurement and SOX guidelines to minimize pre-commits and ensure processes run quickly and smoothly.
- Liaise with Indirect Procurement team where necessary.
- Cleaning’ of unused PO’s on a quarterly basis.
Reporting:
- Provide weekly, monthly & quarterly reports to business teams to allow immediate and clear understanding of current performance metrics.
- Liaise with Corporate HQ to ensure consistency in data.
- Ad hoc projects
