ACCOUNTANT – Location : SINGAPORE

We provide line maintenance services at Singapore Changi Airport for more than 60 international carriers, as well as airframe maintenance and component overhaul on some of the most advanced and widely used commercial aircraft in the world.

REQUIREMENTS

- Good Honours Degree in Accountancy, preferably a member of ICPAS with some relevant experience;
- Independent, mature, resourceful, analytical and highly driven;
- Strong interpersonal, communication (written) and presentation skills;
- Strong business transaction skills (e.g. conduct of due diligence, drafting and review of agreement terms, business negotiations);
- Willing to travel or be stationed overseas for short to medium-term assignments when required;
- Willing to be posted to operating divisions or JV companies in Singapore for medium-term assignments

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare and analyse Company and Group financial statements for reporting to Management and external parties;
- Prepare annual report;
- Maintain financial and key operational statistics;
- Handle issues concerned to investors and analysts;
- Prepare operating budget and business forecast;
- Participate in financial analysis of new projects and Joint Venture (JVs), capital expenditure, company’s capital structure, financial risks and internal controls;
- Monitor the operational and financial performances of JVs through regular business and financial reviews;
- Ensure JV’s growth and financial performance are consistent with the annual budget and business plan;
- Work with various stakeholders to protect the Company’s interest, bring about improvements in JV’s performance and influence changes to the JV’s to bring about alignment with Company’s general growth strategy
- Handle financial risk management, evaluate tax issues and liaise with tax agent on a need basis
- Handle various accounting functions such as revenue accounting, expenditure accounting treasury and tax issues
