Accountant / Assistant Accountant
Description
- Month-end closing at each month
- Timely, complete & accurate submission of accounting & management reports to management
- Monthly review and confirmation of inter-company billings
- Monthly breakdown of direct charges, variance & expenses
- Assist the Finance Manager in developing & implementing action plans to meet region’s financial objectives & KPIs
- Pro-actively identify & highlight gaps & risks in performances to Finance Manager
- Continuous review of work processes to improve speed, efficiency & accuracy
- Review of financial information prepared for regional representative offices
- Assist to prepare finalised audit & tax computations
- Coordinate & review for submission of government surveys
- Ensure compliance with Corporate policies, US-GAAP, legal, statutory, tax and Sarbane-Oxley (SOX) requirements
- Perform any other duties from time to time, whether ad hoc or otherwise, as assigned by your superior.
- Diploma, ACCA or Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- At least 3 - 5 years experience
- Experienced in using MS Office tools (Excel, Words, Powerpoint)
- Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion is an advantage
- Have good communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- Good team player
