Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and complete maintenance of fixed assets register (additions, disposals, transfers, etc.)
- Conduct year-end physical sightings of the company’s fixed assets
- Liaise with respective departments on quarterly fixed assets confirmation
- Run monthly depreciation schedule and post respective entries in the general ledger
- Assist in generating depreciation schedule for annual budgeting purpose
- Handle processing of payables invoices for 2 major suppliers
- Perform month-end closing on petty cash claims
- Perform regular monitoring and clearing of unbilled invoices by suppliers
- Prepare and analyse balance sheet schedules
- Diploma in Accounting with at least 2 years’ relevant experience. Candidates with lower qualification but with substantial working experience can be considered
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications and preferably with BaaN or SAP experience
- Mature and independent with good communication skills
- Able to adapt into a dynamic environment and taking initiative to complete any task as assigned
- Immediate availability preferred
