Our client, a global leader in pharmaceutical services, improving healthcare worldwide by providing innovative, quality professional expertise, market intelligence and partnering solutions to meet the dynamic needs of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare industries, is inviting suitably qualified candidates to fill the above position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manages Project Accounting and Costing for the laboratory business
• Manages Fixed Asset, Inventory Control and Intercompany transactions
• Performs month-end closing, analysis and prepares month-end schedules
• Works with Operations on financial issues
• Liaise with inter-company contacts
• Other ad-hoc assignments

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA; CPA preferred
• Minimum 7 years working experience in accounting; preferably some working experience in public accounting firm
• Experience in full set of accounts, financial analysis and management accounting
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Very proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
• Knowledge in ACCPAC and Hyperion Financial Management will be advantageous
• Good communication and organisational skill

Senior / Accountant

Job Duties:

 

• Ensure monthly closing within the required deadline
• Prepare and review of financial information for regional representative offices
• Responsible for timely accurate submission of accounting & management reports to regional offices management
• Assist the Finance Manager in developing and implementing action plans to meet region’s financial objectives & KPIs
• Pro-actively identify & highlight gaps & risks in performances
• Continuous review of work processes to improve speed, efficiency & accuracy
• Assist to prepare finalized audit & tax computations
• Ensure compliance with Corporate policies, US-GAAP, legal, statutory, tax and Sarbane-Oxley (SOX) requirements
• Perform any other duties from time to time, whether ad hoc or otherwise, as assigned by your superior

Job Requirement: 

• Diploma, ACCA or Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• At least 5 years experience
• Experienced in using MS Office tools (Excel, Words, Powerpoint) Knowledge of SAP FICO module and Hyperion is preferred
• Proactive team player

• Working location: Upper Aljunied
• Working hours: 8.30am-5.30pm (Mon-Fri)
