Assistant Finance Manager    

This client, An International Ship Management Company is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager  to join their fast paced and expanding operations.

Assistant Finance Manager

This role requires you to report to the Finance Manager-Vessel

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Financial Performance reports.
• Monthly variance reports, statement of accounts as well as supporting documents for the respective vessel.
• Preparing periodical cash flow analysis.
• Liaise with the Technical, Crew and Insurance departments to ensure all costs are properly accounted for.
• Assist the Finance Manager in process mapping and internal procedures compliance.

The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Business or Accounting &/or ACCA qualified with 5-8 years experience in accounting, finance departments with a proven track record in the shipping industry.

Internal Audit Assistant Manager   

The Company is an European-listed MNC with excellent track record. The Company has a significant presence in the Asia Pacific region (covering Korean, Aus, India, ASEAN & China) with a recent multi-billion acquisition and will continue to grow organically in the region.

The role of the Internal Audit Assistant Manager will be challenging as their business covers 3 different business channels and spans over the Asia Pacific region with over 10 business operations. The projects would cover from operational & finance audits with in depth investigations in each arena. Each project will require the employee to look at things in various prespectives and challenge the individual to shift and move in different angles. The individual will be responsible for planning and executing audits, reviewing work papers, preparing draft reports and concluding audit recommendations with the business units.

The individual is responsible to lead the team of 2-4 staff in Singapore for the projects across the region, and will report to the Internal Audit Manager.  The individual should be able to lead, managed and develop their subordinates to grow with the team and be pro-active and play an advisory role to the manager.

There will be frequent travel to the different countries in the Asia Pacific region as well as training in their Europe headquarters. This organisation provides internal transfers and rotation base on the employee's performance and opportunities within the global business.

An individual who has 6-8 years of experience external audit (In a Big Four would be highly desirable) and internal audit (which is crucial and a must have) in an commercial MNC environment with supervisory experience is a candidate we are looking for.

Senior Accountant  
The Client who is an large European MNC in the medical equipment industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Finance Team!

The role of an Senior Accountant encompasses the Management Reporting function including the budgeting & forecasting of a regional portfolio including liaising and communicating with the different regional offices. Development of various financial forecast, budgets, reconciliations and analyses as well as integrated revenue/ expense analyses, projections, reports and presentations are part of the daily functions in this role. The individual will also be involved with determining and discussing financial analysis including rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investments and budgeting as well as conducting strategic cost studies, cost benefits analysis and financial modelling. Another portion of the role includes setting up of the SAP functionalities and get hands on with the system testings, test development scenarios and deliver end-user trainings.

The individual that would fit the role would be a degree holder in Business Administration or Accounting, with 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain processes and costing experience. We are looking for a hands ons candidates who is familiar with ERP systems. (BAAN & SAP) The individual should be able to multi-task and work on various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Our client, a global leader in the electronics industry is seeking for an Accounts Executive to join their fast-paced and dynamic organization.

This incumbent would be responsible for:

• Assisting in monthly and quarterly financial reporting
• Assisting in preparing year-end reports for statistics file
• Maintaining fixed assets registar
• Assisting in the yearly fixed asset count & reconciliation exercise
• Preparing fixed asset schedule for tax and insurance purpose
• Consolidating quarterly GST reporting for the group company in Singapore
• Preparing monthly cashflow report for management
• Assisting in annual Buisness Planning exercise and compiling reports at company level for reporting to HQ
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications
