Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic support to the cluster on financial matters so as to meet the Cluster and Group’s business objectives
- Preparing financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements of the cluster
- Overseeing the expenditure and operating results of all business units as against budget
- Coordinating and maintaining a cash forecasting system to ensure that adequate funds are available to meet the working requirements of the respective business units
- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecast of corporate accounts
- Conducting tax planning and compliance on corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes
- Nurture key relationships with financial services-related external parties by providing advisory service for the business units’ communication with banks, audit firms and support business leader when necessary
- Provide leadership, guidance and act as mentor to the finance team within the cluster and to promote teamwork within the cluster and across the Group
- Ensure that the finance staff in the cluster are properly trained and developed so as to acquire the skills and expertise necessary for their respective roles and career development.
- At least 10 years’ successful post qualification experience
- Possess a degree/professional qualification in Accountancy or be a CPA
- Proficient in SAP
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent relationship management, presentation, negotiation, communications and interpersonal skills
