Accountant/Senior Accountant (US MNC)     Post Date: 27 Jul 09

Our Client (US MNC) is currently seeking an Accountant to join their finance team.

The Role:

• In charge of full set of accounting and consolidation
• Oversee month end closing
• Involved in ad hoc analysis
• Familiar with US GAAP
• Management reporting and financial reporting
• Budget and forecast
• Manage tax filing
• Prepare cash flow statements
• Liaise with auditors

The Pre-Requisites:

•  Minimum 4 to 6 years financial accounting exposure
• At least Degree in Accountancy or ACCA equivalent
• Bilingual in english and mandarin
• Preferably from marine/logistics industry

Accountant/Senior Accountant x4, $3.5k to $6k Ref:2-87)
(Singapore - Toa Payoh, Yishun, Raffles Place, AMK)

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Good knowledge of FRS and internal control systems
• Working experience in SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Frango, JDE etc.
• Manage corporate governance, management reporting, internal controls, controlling and planning activities, accounts receivable and fixed assets maintenance.
• Participate in GL month-end closing as well as contribute to global and regional ad-hoc projects.
• Ensure strict adherence to corporate guidelines and that the company’s accounts comply with local FRS & group IFRS.
• Manage corporate governance, management reporting, internal controls, controlling and planning activities, accounts receivable and fixed assets maintenance.
• Participate in GL month-end closing as well as contribute to global and regional ad-hoc projects.
• Ensure strict adherence to corporate guidelines and that the company’s accounts comply with local FRS & group IFRS.
