Our client : Commodity Trading - Central
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely & accurate financial reporting
- Assist in day to day financial & accounting functions
- Processing of bills & invoices in a timely & accurate manner & ensure that all company guidelines are met
- Ensure healthy cash-flow structure of trading firm by keeping close tabs on Accounts Receivables of firm
- Preparation of consolidated accounts & financial statements & conduct simple financial analysis
- Ensure timely & accurate filing of necessary tax returns
- Liaise with external agents & relevant tax agents
- Assist in improving on existing accounting practices & work process to generate a more conducive work environment that can faciliate trading activities
- Other ad-hoc duties
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications like ACCA
- 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, in full set of accounts & group consolidation
- Some audit experience is preferred
- Able to work independently & as a team player when needed
- Hands-on experience in Oracle & SOX is an advantage
- Strong in Excel & highly numerical
