Senior Accountant

Our client is a pioneer in prestigious and symbolic Chinese crystal art collections with production facilities across greater China and Taiwan. Currently, they are looking for qualified and interested individuals to apply for the Senior Accountant position offered

Job Description

• Perform full set of accounts
• To manage overall financial & management accounting functions
• Ensure prompt submission of financial report to management
• Do monthly P&L reports, Preparation of reports and statistics reflecting earnings, cash balances and other financial results
• Liaise with auditors, tax, legal advisors & shared service providers
• Perform financial analysis & review to aid in management decision making
• Provide review & improve internal controls
• Supervise one Accounts Executive
  

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent
• Min 4-5 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge in Peachtree would be highly preferable
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Independent, hardworking, meticulous and a team player
• Able to work under pressure
• Well versed in both Mandarin/English

• Salary fully depends on experience.
• Working Location: Town
• Able to commence work immediately

FUND ACCOUNTANT
Your most important tasks and responsibilities are:

NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The Employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Your role will encompass all facets of the calculation of net asset values. Assisting the senior fund accountant and account manager, your duties will include:

• Performing the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of hedge funds;
• Assisting with the preparation of Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements and associated reports;
• Working with the Investor Relations group;
• Meeting expectations of fund participants, adhering to deadlines;
• Maintaining relationships with investors, investment advisors/managers, banks, brokers and auditors and other fund participants;
• Assisting auditors and other advisers, preparing Annual Reports.
  

You will have the following background and competences:

• A Bachelor degree in accountancy and/or finance or comparable.
• Strong aptitude for numbers and accuracy.
• Fluency in the English language with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Preferably with minimum 2 year’s experience in the financial area or public accounting is an advantage.
